Do you have children?If so how does you job fit around them?
My children are very important to me. So it is important that I am able to spend time with them. A normal fixed hour job can make this very hard to do. When they need me I would be at work. This was the case in the past, where I worked long hours, every weekend, and work had to come first just to maintain my position in the company, not even gain the next step up. This was not good. I would have my children for the weekend and they would be in the office with me. Sure they were happy on the computers, and the computers were safe for them to use, but not the ideal setting for a good family time.
The opportunity I am promoting here is flexible. You need to have time off today, or an hour here and there, well this is ok as you are your own boss and you set your own goals, and there fore your own hours. You can work much faster some days to cut down the time spent just to allow time other days for your children. This is great. A normal job working faster can lead to more work.
Look at your life, and see how much time you are spending with your family? and if it is not a good amount of time, how can you go about changing it?
